Albany County Trenchless Pipe Repair
Stress-Free Repairs & Minimal Disruption to Your Yard
When a main water or sewer line bursts, the old-school method of repair was to create an enormous trench, dig up the broken pipe, replace it with a new section, and then re-bury it. For many homes today, that’s not an option. Not only do many yards not accommodate the excavation equipment required, but household budgets don’t have the room for a major project that will cost them thousands of dollars in landscaping alone.
Plumbing Today, Inc. is happy to offer our customers a better way: trenchless pipe repair. Trenchless pipe repair provides the exact same benefit to your pipes as the traditional method—effective repairs, no leaks, lasting water or sewer service for years—but only requires digging a hole where the broken pipe can be accessed. If you’re looking for a 24-hour emergency plumber who doesn’t need to destroy your yard or foundation to fix your pipes, contact Plumbing Today!
How Trenchless Pipe Repair Works
Trenchless pipe repair relies on a cured-in-place epoxy or resin lining that reinforces the broken pipe. The resin is applied using a flexible tube that is pushed through your pipe system to the damaged section. The flexible tube is inflated so the resin coats the inside of the damaged pipe, reinforcing it. As soon as it dries, your pipe will be good as new—with no massive landscape damage required! Plumbers and homeowners agree that this method is durable and cost-effective.
Another method of trenchless pipe service is to pull an entirely new pipe through the old one. This is called "pipe bursting" because the new pipe destroys the old pipe from the inside while it's getting installed.
The result is a hassle-free way of solving your plumbing emergency without destroying your property.
